Xbox One Revealed!

After months of great anticipation and speculation, Microsoft have finally unveiled the the brand new 'Xbox One' next generation gaming console in a one-hour presentation event last night at the Xbox Redmond campus in Washington. The demonstration may not have lasted for very long, but from all that was shown there is one thing is for certain - the Xbox One aims to be absolutely everything you would ever need for home entertainment right in the heart of your living room.

FUSE

FUSE is a third-person co-op shooter developed by Insomniac Games and published by EA. Originally called Overstrike 9, FUSE has gone through both a name and a huge art direction change to get to its current form. The story features Overstrike 9, a team made up of 4 specially hand-picked agents, tasked with the mission to retrieve a volatile energy source called FUSE that has fallen into the hands of a terrorist organisation known as Raven. FUSE features no online pass or season pass but will require an EA/Origin account to play online. An exciting demo of the game is now available to download on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It's a common pattern that you get some of the best releases of the generation in its final year, and the full-to-the-brim release slate for Autumn suggests that the PS3 era is no different - from RPGs to shooters to fighting games to sports, and a whole lot in-between, there's a lot to like about the next three months of gaming!

Battlefield 4 - What we know so far

Battlefield 4 is due out in the last quarter of this year (the shortest odds are currently in October, Battlefield’s usual release month) and if it’s half the game that EA are talking it up to be, then it’ll be a cracker. Of course, don’t forget that EA talked up BF3 a lot (which had excellent multiplayer, but a forgettable campaign). This go-around, however, it looks like they’ve learned from that experience and have been shaping something substantially more engaging for the next instalment in the venerable series.
