Gal Civ I is good :)  A bit old-school now, but still a decent game :).

Managed to get The Turing Test from the Humble Monthly so thats a surprise that one of the hidden games  is one I actually had some interest in. Metrico looks kinda interesting as well.
So with Inside and Dirt Rally happy with that value better then the Month I did for Mad Max.

Next months early unlock is Stellaris which I don't have enough interest in and the hidden unlocks still rarely having something I'm interested in is enough I will going back to unsubbing.

Clearly much work to be done in getting you into strategy games :).  Although Stellaris, while good, isn't quite 'there' yet, like EU4/CK2 is.  Played Metrico a little on Vita, it's definitely worth a look, interesting puzzle-platformer.  Was too puzzley for me to finish, but enjoyed what I did play.  Would be interested in the Turing Test - we'll all get to play that soon enough, with AIs improving at the rate they are :).

I've still got Comaony of Heroes 2 and Shogun 2 for strategy games to play. Been favouring more pick up and play games of late even that though has got me mixing controls between games :/ my favourite forgetting what button does what in all games is of course throwing a grenade when you don't want to. Can't think of a single game where at one point or another's I have lobbed a grenade out expecting something else to happen.

Plus don't need to add time sinks to my backlog yet anyways ;)

Haha, yes - those varying grenade controls.  I remember one time when I was switching between I think KZ2 and SOCOM:Confrontation, and I was blowing myself up regularly (quite a painful experience in SOCOM!)  CoH2 and Shogun both quality, I'll steer clear of encouraging you to play more time sinks for a little while at least :).

The "Summer" sale should start around the end of June.

Haha - yes :).  I liked how when Playstation started doing their sales, they localised the seasons (even if they didn't localise, as far as I could see, the game selections - so some summer-themed games plugged in such a ways as part of a winter sale were a  bit odd :) ).

New Tax Jurisdictions for 2017
Several countries have enacted sales taxes (VAT, GST, JCT) on sales of digital goods and services that will apply to Steam sales. Look out for changes in your upcoming reports, you will see reporting of taxes in ten new countries.

March 2017:
  • Switzerland 8%
  • South Korea 10%
  • Japan 8%
  • New Zealand 15%
  • Iceland 24%
  • South Africa 14%
  • India 15%

April 2017:
  • Serbia 20%

May 2017:
  • Taiwan 5%

July 2017:
  • Australia 10%

The VAT tax amount will be included in the advertised price of your product, just like VAT is currently treated in the EU. This means the customer will pay the price displayed on the storefront, and the tax will be separated out afterwards.

I got reminded about the about the GST addition sometime next month. So the mid year sale that should be starting in a week or a bit over probably be the last chance to get games that cheap from steam.

Starting the 22nd Big W will have 10% of steam cards(Catalogue page) so a little extra saving as well.

Looking to see if I had already posted something about this I was reminded how graphs account was deleted gave me a good laugh since some posts look odd now.

Yeah I might have to look into some of the cheaper games that seem to have hit their all time low prices i.e. games around that 5usd and under price. Anything over 15usd(Ignoring a few stubborn games like COD) I think is safe to say will get cheaper in future sales even with GST.
