Deffo keen to read your thoughts on the rest of the game though, especially the Prison infiltration on your own, god i loved that level haha!
Rest of the game was freakin' awesome - loved it
. A little off-topic in this thread, but it's up there with the best military FPS campaigns this gen, and arguably the best. That prison infiltration was bloody brilliant, but it was all great really. The other on-rail sections were you looking after a hostage in formation with the team, so made a bit more sense. The one at the end didn't even tell you it was an on-rails section - if you naturally started out pushing forward (my approach) you only found out when you went to dodge a car coming at you and it wouldn't let you move sideways
. But all-in-all, a bloody good single-player campaign, deffo look forward to the next Tom Clancy shooter from those teams
. CoD and BF may get all the press, but my favourite single-player FPS campaigns this gen have been the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon titles
On the by, I don't think the gameplay at the end in and of itself is poor - what they do is well implemented (and would work better in coop - the friendly AI is built for the way the game plays the other 97% of the time, and doesn't support you very well at all when you're trying to race to keep up - it was basically me tearing through bad guys with an LMG, in about the only time in the game other than that prison break that I _didn't_ want an LMG but rather needed an assault rifle), it just comes from nowhere, and makes about as much tactical sense as turning up to a warzone in a pink bunny suit.
