finished the main campaign of fallout new vegas, did two endings, one for the NCR & the other for myself as the ruler.  just gonna do the last dlc & maybe one other ending & then uninstall.  it's running fücking awful under windows 10, really can't recommend it with that os.

Ah that's not good to hear about fallout and Windows 10, already upgraded.

God this month is torture waiting for Phantom Pain lol. I consider myself a patient person but I'm really not right now hahaha.

it's really bad, especially now in the sierra madre dlc.  the environment is pretty small & bland, yet it's really choppy to play.

Good News for Windows10
FNV runs AMAZING in DirectX12. I've been stress testing the game by spaming nukes in high sunlight to load the screen with things to process and by launching them in closed rooms to trigger physics. All of which the game engine handles fine. I am beginning to feel it's not the coding of the game, but the limits of DirectX11 that sometimes made FNV unstable. The lag when opening VATS is gone, the lag when switching targets in VATS is gone. Images are visually improved, as well as framerate. In games wdere framerate monitiors are built in, I am finding 25-50% improvements. FNV seems visually similar.

:/

always been my intention to wipe my pc & do a clean install of windows after finishing new vegas.  hopefully it's just an issue i've picked up when doing all my swapping of bits & upgrading etc.

LA Noire?

Bought this - I did own it on the PS3 when it released but house was broken into then and it was stolen so never got to finish it. Have been playing through it although it still feels a bit familiar albeit hazy. From memory (when I originally played it) I was up to some serial killer but that memory is a bit washy so could be completely wrong.

Also completed Portal Stories: Mel. 8 brain muscles out of 10.

Further to that - been promoted to homicide so I reckon I'm getting close now (to where I was).
