It's reviewed pretty well, and I'm deffo grabbing it at some stage, but it's fallen into the Hitman/Far-Cry 'not quiet enough time/money' basket right away - by all accounts it should be a blast though - would happily support any comps in it

The PlayStation Blog has announced that a new Character DLC Pack for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be available in the PlayStation Store on February 13th. This special character add-on content will be free to download in the PlayStation Store during the first two weeks of its release, while the newest stage-level, Fearless (a mash-up between Heavenly Sword and WipEout), will also be available for purchase in February as well.
The two new characters added to this super fun brawler will include the gravity-defying Kat from the PS Vita's Gravity Rush, and Emmett Graves, who will bring along his signature “Build & Battle” style from Starhawk.
Have a look on the PlayStation Blog to see what kind of awesomeness these two new characters will bring to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a Cross-Play title, which means that whether you are playing on the PlayStation 3 or on the PlayStation Vita, both can be interconnected seamlessly so you can play on the Vita battling a friend on the PS3 in real-time and have that much more fun. Any downloadable content you purchase can also be applied to both systems with the Cross-Buy feature. Furthermore, when you purchase a copy of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on the PlayStation 3, you will also receive a downloadable version of the game on the PlayStation Vita at no extra cost.

Sony has cut PSASBR developers SuperBot loose
"Sony Computer Entertainment can confirm that the working agreement with developer SuperBot Entertainment has amicably ended," a Sony representative told Kotaku. "We have had a positive working relationship with this talented studio, and wish them the best of success in their next endeavor. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and the title's forthcoming DLC releases will continue to be fully supported by Santa Monica Studio.

Right sad, this is. I kinda feel Sony should have known it would have been an uphill battle with PSASBR, and so should have stuck with it for a bit longer, but they've been a this game for longer than I have (and they might be doing this as well). Anyways, here's hoping Superbot goes well for the future, by PSASBR is a great game.
