MoH was freaking great until they stuck it on frostbite & tried to blend BF with CoD. hopeless.

Sad, still remember playing the first games on PSone.

Its a shame - it had potential to be something good but EA went and screwed it up. Its not the engine's fault, EA/Danger Close just rushed the game, and by focusing too much on competing with CoD rather than making a better game. They should've stuck with WW2 setting or even went Vietnam! And why make a game thats half CoD and half Battlefield.

I still have the first game on PSOne, and Underground as well
Anyways, their mistake was to try and make a mainstream hit from a shooter with any (even a small amount) of basis in authenticity. MoH and MoH:Warfighter were very good games, but they weren't mass market games and were never going to resonate with most gamers.
Indeed, EA should have realised that the mass market wouldn't resonate with anything even vaguely flavoured with an authentic experience - in effect, they set Danger Close up to fail. Same reason the Op Flash games didn't sell as many as Codies would like. I dislike their 'if it's not a hit, it's not worth it' attitude though. Sooner or later, someone will start making niche, hardcore shooters again (SOCOM, Op Flash), and they'll get a solid audience of a million or two and do just fine

Sweet as Dmn
. I actually preferred Underground m'self - not a surprise, as they already had a base on which to build their game, and the whole 'underground' vibe worked better with the limitations of he hardware. For info, if you play Underground on PS3, the compatibility falls apart in the Catacombs, where it breaks beyond being playable. Must bust out my PS2 and rip through it on that sometime

Should have kept the series in the past. I miss my M1 in Airborne.
