Hi All,
Was a gamer up untill about a year ago,sold everything gameing wise to help fund my new road bike (cycling) coming up to my Birthday and the Minister of finance asked me what i want... I really mis playing COD so a new PS3 is what im getting.

Anyone have some advice on the best an cheapst place online to get one? I have been told that the 12 gb will not be big enough to play BOPS2???

ay mate, welcome to GG.

personally i'd be looking to get the console locally just in case you have issues with it.  but if you're willing to take the risk ozgameshop.com or playasia.com would probably be the cheapest (not sure how much you'd save over a local retailer though).

Yeah Cheers looks like all the major retailers have the same price for the same bundles, but unfortunatly none with Black ops 2.

You could always get the 12GB PS3 and then buy a bigger HDD for it, say 120GB if you dont wanna spend too much. It'll work out cheaper that way. 2.5" HDD's are really cheap nowadays.

In honesty, i'd wait till Sony makes this announcement and if it is indeed the PS4, i'd either hold off buying a ps3 or just find a cheap second hand one to last you a few months.

Think the option of the second hand is the way to go.

So did you guys branch out to goodgame?  is the old site still going or just change of name?

Hey Bardy, great to see you about the place, and have you back in gaming again .  Crook, so not writing much, but in short:

- CLANZ is dead, this new site has a broader scope but the old CLANZ guys as well .
- Haven't heard from the R2 guys in ages, they weren't in the last couple of MW3 comps we had at CLANZ, and haven't seen Aussie Recon about in probably a year or so.  Hope they're well though .
